It is not surprising that the student leadership of 1976 continue to play an important role within their respective communities and industries. These individuals, many of whom returned to society after years of exile or imprisonment, have an enormous wealth of skills and expertise, across a wide range of sectors and industries.
The founding members and trustees of the Foundation include ‘76 luminaries such as: Billy Masetlha, Majakathata Mokoena, Titi Mthenjane, Oupa Strike Phele, Job Thabo Kubu, Wandile Zulu, Ronnie Mathabathe, Super Moloi, Murphy Morobe, Baby Tyawa, Dan Montsitsi, Seth Mazibuko, Zweli Sizane, George Twala, Thabo Ndabeni, Mpho Masetlha and Oupa Moloto, among others.
Individually, and within the Foundation, the Class of 1976 is determined to make a difference (yet again). Those who fought tirelessly for democracy, now take on an even bigger battle - the development, education, skilling and upliftment of our next generation of leaders.
